Pastor Pilgrim is an ordained Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) minister. My interests include Celtic, Anglo-Saxon, and Merovingian Abbesses; illuminated manuscripts; Franciscan and Celtic Christian spirituality; and pilgrimage. I like to dance when no one is looking. Sometimes I write haikus.
I am incredibly blessed to be married to an extremely patient man, have two great grown sons, a daughter-in-love, and two much-loved Maine Coon cats. I am comfortable with my silver-streaked hair. My husband affectionately calls me Mother Nature. I am a member of the online Abbey of the Arts (Disorder of Dancing Monks!).
I have two active blogs, hope you will drop by when you have some time on your hands and browse around in them.
1. www.pastorpilgrim.wordpress.com in which I muse about various topics. Included in this blog is an Advent devotional called “Pilgrimage to Bethlehem” and I have posted about some of my personal pilgrimages to visit the lands of the Celtic/Anglo-Saxon/Merovingian saints.
2. I also have a Celtic/Anglo-Saxon saints Advent devotional at saintsbridge.org where we journey with the Celts to the Creche. Read a bio of one of the Celtic saints, see some pretty cool photos, read a Meditation, and pray a prayer. Come visit there sometime and meet some new friends in a “thin place” on the other side of the bridge where we can imagine the saints crossing back and forth.
May the fullness of Shalom be yours!
Green team garden started Friday , Norm and I staked out the size and layed out some ground measurements.. We then drove to Evadale and bought garden compost dirt to fill in garden. Saturday the whole team came to the church and we made the raised beds and filled with garden soil. Mary planted 8 settings of tomatoes. That is a good start. Hope you are having a blast on your trip. Miss you already. James came to the work day . I will keep an eye on him and keep him supplied in youth snacks. Have a blessed day Sid Elliott
